An Alabama LLC files its Business Privilege Tax return, Form PPT, with the Department of Revenue, due the same day as its federal return, March 15 for a calendar year LLC. For tax years beginning after December 31, 2023, an LLC whose tax comes to $100 or less is exempt and does not file. LLCs no longer file a separate Secretary of State annual report, only corporations do.
